Virtual Earth Month Event |
Thursday April 17 | 1:30 - 2:30 pm | Grades 4-6
Empower your students to become eco-heroes this Earth Day! Our interactive, 100% virtual workshop, “Plastic Power: Unravelling the Connection Between Plastic Pollution & Climate Change,” is designed specifically for grades 4-6.
Through fun storytelling, group challenges, and hands-on activities, students will learn how everyday
plastic impacts our planet and discover creative ways to make a difference.
What to Expect:

Exciting group activities that spark environmental curiosity

Opportunities for your students to engage with a researcher working on this issue

Students will play an online game "Plastic in my watershed" to explore where plastics can come from

Students are asked to bring a disposable piece of plastic from home
