Join our biggest event of the year! We are now recruiting volunteers for Science Rendezvous on Saturday, May 10. We'll take over Gould Street on campus to deliver a street festival-style event for the general public - showcasing the amazing science happening here at TMU!

A warm thank you to all of our volunteers this year. With your help, we engaged 2,500 youth in STEM activities this school year through over 100 workshops! We are so proud of the work that you do in our communities and appreciate your dedication to making science accessible.

Science Rendezvous Volunteer
Saturday, May 10 | 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Science Rendezvous is a national festival of science celebrated by post-secondary and research institutes across the country! There are a variety of volunteer roles:
Logistics - help at the information booth or more behind-the-scenes tasks.
Activity Booth - facilitate a hands-on activity; Training provided; Limited spots.
Pocket Science - wow the crowd with short science tricks! Training provided.

Soapbox Science
Virtual hours | May - September
Volunteers will need to contribute 4-6 hours per month throughout the summer, and about 10 hours in September. Please reserve Sat. Sept. 27 and Sun. Sept. 28 for our in-person events this year.
We are looking for volunteers to fill two types of roles (you can only apply to ONE role):
Social Media Volunteer - promote our speakers and event throughout the summer
Soapbox Toronto Day 2 Organizer - we need a strong volunteer committee to organize a less formal event for the second day of Soapbox on Sun. September 28 at Queen's Park.
